Most members are exactly who they say they are, here for the same reason as you. This is what we do behind the scenes to help keep it that way.
New profiles and photos are checked by our UK-based moderation team, supported by automated screening that flags suspicious wording, images and behaviour patterns for manual review. We also run regular checks across existing profiles, not just at sign-up.
Members can verify one another as genuine, so you can see on a profile whether other real members vouch for them. It's not a formal ID check, but it's a useful extra signal alongside a member's photos, activity and likes.
Every profile has a report option, and reports go to a real person on our support team - not into a queue that never gets looked at. You can also block any member directly, which stops them contacting you or seeing your profile at all.
If you'd rather not use the in-profile tools, you can always reach us via customer support directly.
Harassment, underage users, impersonation and content that breaks our community guidelines result in an account being removed - not a warning that gets ignored. Where the law requires it, including matters of exploitation or trafficking, we cooperate with law enforcement. See our full anti-trafficking statement.
Messages between members are relayed through the site - your real name and email address are never revealed to anyone you haven't chosen to share them with. See our privacy policy for the full detail on how your data is handled, and website security for how it's technically protected.
We keep refining how we moderate and protect members as the site grows. If you think something's missing, or you've had a bad experience we should know about, tell us.
